ACA’s one man swim team, Jalen McDade has been named Athlete of the Week. McDade competed in the 1A-5A Central Sectionals on Tuesday and qualified for the State meet in the 50 yard freestyle and 100 yard butterfly.
The junior swimmer finished third at State in the 1A-5A 50 yard freestyle with a personal best time of 22.72 after finishing fifth in the preliminary heat. McDade also competed in the 100 yard butterfly and finished tenth in the preliminary heat.
