ACA Continues to Struggle Early in Season

The Alabama Christian volleyball team continued to feel the affects of a short-handed roster as they lost Tuesday afternoon to Trinity and Brew Tech in a tri-match at Trinity. Illness and injury have wreaked havoc on the Lady Eagles over the past ten days. ACA lost to Brew Tech 10-25, 19-25 and fell to the Wildcats in two straight games.

Cayla Schofield led the Eagle attack on the afternoon with nine kills and one block. Leighton Peake had six kills with an ace and Riley Barrow added three kills. Anna Prempramot had four assists to lead the squad. ACA (0-7) will next play at LAMP in an Area contest Thursday.
