Tennis
The Lady Eagles defeated both Brew Tech (6-3) and BTW (8-1) in action this week. Against Brew Tech, Paige Henry (8-6), Alyson Thornton (8-0), Emma Rives (8-3) and Ava Burgess (8-5) won their singles matches. in doubles competition, the teams of Dean/Henry (8-1) and Thornton/Burgess (8-2) were victorious. Against BTW, Ava Rose Dean (8-0), Ann Welch Hilyer (8-6), Alyson Thornton (8-0), Emma Rives (8-2) and Layney Adams (8-4) won their singles matches while all three doubles pairs were triumphant.
Soccer
The boys soccer team split the week with a win and a loss. The Eagles completed the season sweep of St James with a 1-0 decision over the Trojans, but lost to MA, 0-10. The girls lost both matches this week to St James and MA, but continue to gain valuable experience. Marcy Gregory continued her good work in the net with 44 saves in the two games.
Golf
On Monday, Julie Waldo finished first in a nine-hole event with a 37 against MA at the Lagoon Park Golf Course. Later in the week, the boys team defeated PCA at Lagoon with Andrew Whang posting the low score of the day.
