The Eagles (9-6) hosted Autauga Academy, who was a late addition to the schedule, on Tuesday and doubled up the visitors, 6-3. With Maddie Traywick out for the game the pitching duties fell to Izzy Warrick. The senior righty made the most of the opportunity as she won the 50th game of her career.
ACA scored first as Anna Gleason singled to right with two outs. After Emma Redmon came into run for Gleason, she scored on an infield error for a 1-0 lead. In the second, Izzy Warrick had a bases loaded single to center to drive in Chole Childs and Lily Sconyers for a 3-0 advantage. Sconyers knocked the next run in with a double to center in the third followed by a Peri Lane Holley sacrifice driving in Childs. The Generals finally got going in the fourth and tried to get back into the game by scoring three runs. The Eagles responded with a run in the bottom half and Izzy Warrick held Autauga Academy scoreless the rest of the way.
Izzy Warrick pitched a complete game with 14 strikeouts as she overpowered the Generals. Lily Sconyers led the offense with a 3 for 3 day with a double and a run driven in. Warrick, Anna Gleason, Elizabeth Hall, and Chloe Childs each had a single.
