The Eagle offense depends on Corey Landers a little more each week. The freshman running back has proven to be a valuable weapon for ACA. Landers and Jalen Clark provide a potent 1-2 punch for the Alabama Christian ground game. This week, against Ashford, the Eagles depended on Landers in the fourth quarter after Clark left the game with an injury. He responded by carrying the ball on five straight plays and scoring the team’s last touchdown of the night. Landers finished the night with a career high 17 rushes for 78 yards and two touchdowns.
