In both the boys and girls contests against MA Thursday night, MA was able to control the game and played the majority of the night on the ACA side of the field. The girls suffered their first loss of the year as they fell 8-0 to the Eagles of MA and move to 3-1 in Area play. Goalie Jadyn Gonzalez had a very busy night and was able to make 14 saves, but the offensive attack proved too much for the Lady Eagle defense. The boys experienced many of the same things the girls did as MA kept constant pressure on the ACA defense and came away with a 6-0 victory over the home standing Eagles. ACA allowed only one goal in the second half, but MA had put the game out of reach by halftime.
The Lady Eagles host Prattville Friday night in a make-up game and then both varsity teams will be off over spring break.
