ACA (5-8) lost a closely fought contest to visiting Samson. The Lady Tigers led for the majority of the game, but the Eagles kept it close and the outcome remained in doubt throughout the clash. ACA was able to cut the lead to one point with 2:47 left in the game, but did not score again as Samson scored the last five points to secure the 40-34 victory. Michaelyn Manning scored 12 points to lead the offense with seven steals and four assists. Rose Costanza had seven points and Mary Hall added five points and seven rebounds.
The Lady Eagles play again next Friday as they visit Horseshoe Bend.
