The ACA girls tennis team continued its strong play with a 9-0 win over Brew Tech on Wednesday afternoon. In singles play, Ava Rose Dean (8-4), Molly Howard (8-1), Paige Henry (8-0), Ann Welch Hilyer (8-0), Laura Stokley (8-0), Blaire Davis (8-0) and Jordan Wilson (8-0) were all victorious. Dean/Howard (8-2), Henry/Hilyer (8-4) and Layne DeCapite/Emma Rives (8-1) each won their doubles matches.
The boys team also earned a much needed win with a 5-0 win over the Rams. Landon Hunton (8-2), Jake Bailey (8-2), Landon Torroll (8-0) and Ross Franklin (8-4) each won their singles match while Bailey/Andrew Phillips (9-7) won the lone doubles match.
Alabama Christian next plays against St James on Monday, March 15th at the O’Connor Tennis Center.
