ACA Swept by Trinity in Three Straight

The Lady Eagles lost an area contest to Trinity Thursday night in three straight games. The first game was very close, but ACA was unable to take the lead late and lost 22-25. Mary Hall was injured in game two with the score tied 17-17 and the Eagles struggled down the stretch and fell 21-25. In game three, the score was tied 10-10 early, but Trinity gained the momentum and won the game, 13-25.

Emily Thornton led the team with nine kills and added 10 assists. Jordan Smithee had seven kills and Mary Hall added five kills and two blocks. Alyson Thornton led the team with 18 assists and Savannah Fonville had six digs.

ACA (8-13) have the weekend off and will resume play Monday as they visit Catholic.
