Emily Thornton led the Lady Eagles to a 2-1 record last week and was named the ACA Athlete of the Week. The senior captain had 18 kills with 33 assists and two aces in the three contests. Thornton leads the Eagles in kills and assists on the season, which has only been done one other time in program history. Thornton ranks second all time in assists and eighth in aces in school history.
