Alabama Christian defeated Brew Tech 3-0 Tuesday night on its home field. Brooks Hatcher opened the scoring, assisted by Dalton Hutchinson, to give ACA the 1-0 lead. Hutchinson and Sean Moffett added goals for the 3-0 victory while Tyler Bradley and Karson Oakley recorded assists. Goalie Emmett Sanford finished with seven saves in the win.
Girls Soccer
The Lady Eagles opened the week with a 4-1 victory over Wetumpka on Tuesday night. Senior Michaelyn Manning scored all four goals for ACA with Presley Lewis and Katelyn Sutton assisted Manning. Goalkeeper Marcy Gregory recorded nine saves in the victory. ACA fell to Trinity on Thursday night 8-1 to finish the week. Manning scored the team’s lone goal and Gregory finished with 40 saves under a constant barrage of shots.
